We are thrilled to share some exciting news—Adelaide Elementary has officially achieved Level 1 Certification in the Marzano High Reliability Schools (HRS) framework! This is a significant milestone that reflects our ongoing commitment to creating the best possible environment for student success.

The HRS framework is a research-based system designed to help schools continuously improve by focusing on the most critical factors for student achievement. Last year, we focused on Level 1: Safe, Supportive, and Collaborative Culture—a foundational step toward long-term school improvement.

Guided by valuable feedback from students, staff, and parents, we concentrated on two key indicators:

  • 1.6: Providing formal opportunities for students, parents, and the community to offer input on school operations.

  • 1.7: Recognizing and celebrating the success of both individuals and the school as a whole.

With this in mind, we implemented several meaningful initiatives to enhance our school culture:

  • Launched the Tiger Roar Assembly to celebrate students' academic achievement, good citizenship, and improved attendance.

  • Introduced the "Shell-e-brate" Board in our faculty room to spotlight the amazing work our staff do every day.

  • Resonded to student input by hosting a school-wide Talent Show to showcase the unique gifts of our students and by purchasing a Volleyball Set for recess, promoting fun and physical activity.

  • Ensured that teachers are present outside after school to help students feel safe and supported as they leave campus.

These efforts have led to a more connected, positive, and engaging school environment—and we’re proud to be one of only three elementary schools in Davis School District to receive this prestigious recognition!

We’re just getting started, and we look forward to building on this success in the year ahead. Thank you to everyone—students, families, and staff—who helped us reach this achievement. Go Tigers!
